André Wee (d.o.b 05-09-1989) is constantly developing new workflows and techniques to augment his art through his strong interest in experimentation and merging new technologies with his established aesthetics as an illustrator. Creating layers between virtual, augmented and tangible realities, he plays with constructing imagery that reflect the hidden spaces that exist in flux within our lives. He often finds that these spaces are liminal and experiences an ‘in-betweeness’ within them which to him, reflects the shifting identities of our ever-changing societies.

André often finds himself always on the move - between destinations; his sketches of the different places he finds himself and the digital worlds that he creates, are those that exist and don’t. Recently commissioned by companies and brands from Apple to Hermes and even the United Nations; André hopes to continue his craft in search of that which is fleeting.
